GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY

Help the sales team communicate changes in pricing and packaging of the Workspace ONE products

Since the new SKUs had recently been introduced and the customers were still on old SKUs, sales teams had to inform them of the changes and be updated themselves on the add-ons and features. There was no quick way for them to look up this information while talking to customers and my project was to create a spreadsheet that helped solve this problem.

Initiatives:

  • Built a spreadsheet model that enabled sales reps to check box the old SKU(s) that the customers were on and the features that they required and then suggested the new SKU based on the inputs

  • Ran demo sessions with 3 sales reps, gathered feedback, and updated the spreadsheet

Result:

  • A potential 50% reduction in look-up time for sales reps while conversing with customers

Create sales enablement assets for the go-to-market strategy of a new Workspace ONE feature

VMware and Intel vPro went generally available (GA) with a new endpoint management feature. I owned the creation of the sales enablement assets that were part of the GTM strategy.

Initiatives:

  • Collaborated with the Intel marketing team and product management for the go-to-market messaging of the feature launch

  • Managed vendor relations with design agency and product testing company

  • Coordinated with product managers from Japan and Bulgaria to understand the feature success and with the content team to publish blogs on the topic

Result:

  • Created 10+ sales enablement assets within a month including sales training presentation, partner enablement presentation, solution briefs, email templates, call scripts, and more

  • Published a blog on the VMware website about the proof of concept results as discovered by the product testing company
